Longdown Road

Originally built in the late 1920s, this property required extensive updating throughout. Two triple extensions to either flank have created an extensive kitchen and dining area with bifold doors that fully open onto the extended terrace, while at the other end the curved bay window and curved bay doors were matched to the original style. ' A' rated double glazing was introduced throughout the property. The entire roof was replaced, and dormers windows were constructed to match the existing curved head and molded rafter feet. The loft has been converted to a home cinema room with AV facilities, all linked to iPad technology, and a further bedroom with a vaulted oak beamed ceiling. The rest of the property was thoroughly renovated while keeping the existing period details such as oak panelling, panelled doors, architraves and plaster work.
