Quality people remember
Most of our work comes through personal recommendation. That only happens when the standard holds long after the work is finished. For more than 30 years, that has been the measure of how we build.
Who we are
Building and restoring homes across Surrey, Hampshire and South West London since 1991. Three decades. One standard.
About usThe quality of a home lives in the details most will never notice.
We build as though every one of them will be seen. It is why our reputation leads, and our clients recommend us every time.

Details that belong
Every home asks for a different kind of detail. We consider the proportions, materials and character of the property before making decisions, so the finished work feels precise, natural and true to the building.
Complex work, properly handled
Some projects need more than a standard build. Difficult structures, sensitive restorations and awkward sites call for judgement as well as craft. This is where our experience does its best work.
Experience that sees ahead
Decades of structural work help us read a project before the build is fully under way. Building control issues, structural complications and hidden constraints are identified early, when they can be handled properly.

Testimonials
“We really enjoyed working with the team and would recommend them to anyone looking to renovate their home. … It was a complex project where we had specific design outcomes we wanted to achieve, and the team worked hard with us, to ensure we got the ‘look’ we wanted.”

“Elphinston Wells completed works to replace all of the timbers in a converted barn that we had bought in Guildford. … They were completely transparent on costs and timelines and they came in on time and on budget and the quality of workmanship was first class.”
